Saya Amatsu

From her short beginnings in Doma to her current life as an adventuring healer, Saya's life has been fraught with times of peace to distress. She remembers little of her time with her parents in Doma. Her life greatly changed when Garleans were looking to conscript more soldiers. From that moment things happened quickly and she eventually found herself in the halls of Sharlayan. There she lived with her new guardian that pushed her to learn.

For nearly ten summers she studied, however, her spirit could not be satisfied solely in study. She caused the scholars much stress as she would slip from their sight to wander and explore. The nights she spent looking to the heavens led her to astromancy—lessons she finally showed great interest in. For once she felt she could provide worth via healing and reading the stars—never, to her hope, be left in the dark of events to come.

As with all things, though, another chapter was to close. She remembers the shift in the stars as Dalamud approached ever closer. The emotions of everyone around her were mixed. The indecisiveness ate at her and she decided to finally leave the city and make her own way. Mayhaps she could somehow offer succor to those in need instead of sitting in halls discussing the validity of such actions.

She doesn't remember much of her time as she traveled, but as she went ever more south it felt as if she was walking right towards Dalamud's door. The sounds of screams, explosions, and the smell of smoke is most of what she recalls. The rest is a blur.

Currently Saya is an adventuring Astrologian, helping where she is able and exploring the great lands of Hydaelyn. She harbors no love for the Garleans and makes it a priority to foil their activities.
